This product contains porcine infectious gastroenteritis virus (Chinese strain) and porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (CV777 strain). The content of the pre-inactivated virus of both strain is not less than 107.0 TCID50/mL.

This product is a pink uniform suspension. After a long time, the suspension separates into an upper red, clear liquid layer and a lower light gray precipitate layer. It becomes a uniform suspension after shaking.

It is used to prevent porcine transmissbile gastroenteritis and porcine epidemic diarrhea. It is mainly used for passive immunization of pregnant sows to protect piglets. It is also used for active immunization to protect pigs of different ages. Immunity is developed 2 weeks after active immunization, lasting for 6 months. The immunity period for passive immunity of piglets is from lactation to one week after weaning.

Passive immunization: pregnant sows should be be inoculated with 4 ml/pig at 20~30 days before farrowing. Active immunization: piglets should be inoculated 1 ml/pig for piglets weighed 25 kg or less, 2 ml/pig for 25-50 kg pigs, and 4 ml/pig for pigs over 50 kg. Passively immunized piglets can be actively vaccinated with 1 ml/pig within one week after weaning. The inoculation should be injected at the Houhai acupuncture point which is the small nest part of the depression between the tail root and the anus. The depth of the vaccinated needle is 0.5~4.0 cm according to the ages of the pig. For a 3-day-old piglet, the depth is 0.5 cm, which can be deepened with the increase of pig age, to 4 cm in adult pigs. The needle is pushed parallel or slightly above to the rectum after insertion.

There are generally no visible adverse reactions.

(1) Vaccines must not be frozen.
(2) Vaccines should be protected from high temperatures and sunlight during transportation.
(3) Shake the vaccine well before and during use.
(4) At the time of inoculation, a routine aseptic operation should be performed.
(5) Pay attention to the depth of needle insertion while injecting in the Houhai acupuncture point .
(6) Immunization equipment and vaccine containers should be sterilized or incinerated according to laws and regulations after use.
